Up in the Air is a 2001 novel by American author Walter Kirn and it was later adapted into the 2009 feature film Up in the Air, starring George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Jason Bateman, Danny McBride. The film directed by Jason Reitman and produced by Tom Pollock, Joe Medjuck, Ted Griffin. MPAA Rating is R for Language and some sexual content and categories as Comedy, Drama and Adaption. Up in the Air released December 4th 2009 ( limited), December 11th for expansion and December 25th (Wide).

The film plot is about Ryan Bingham ( George Clooney) who spend his life in traveling. Ryan plays a professional corporate  downsizer who’s almost constantly on cross-country flights and he flies around the country firing employees whose bosses are too afraid to do it themselves.Ryan dreams of becoming only the seventh person in America to attain 10 million frequent flier miles, but to get marriage, having a family, stay in one place is not included in his dreams and it seems to have met his perfect match in the equally travel-savvy Alex ( Vera Farmiga), they periodically reroute their schedules to enable airport booty calls, and all is right with the world, at least for Ryan. Until one day a young genius hotshot younger lady name Natalie ( Anna Kendrick) get a job at his company by suggesting that much money could be saved if the firing of employees were done over Internet video-conferencing rather than in person. But is totally against this suggestion and he takes Natalie with him on what may be one last cross-country trip  to show her what it is they really do. And the interesting parts of the movie begin.

Up in the Air film was received positive reviews in yahoo movies and rottentomatoes and for me this is the one of the great movies I ever watch before the end of the year, a adult love story that deserves most  of the Oscar Awards.
